Do you want the most unique Christmas tree and home decoration in your neighborhood? Here are some ideas for making your own toilet paper tube decorations that are distinctive, different, and environmentally friendly.
1. Mini crowns
Although it may not appear so, these small Christmas wreaths are constructed from toilet paper tubes and are really simple to make.
Materials:
- Toilet paper cardboard tubes
- Brushes
- Christmas color paint (red, green, yellow, gold)
- Purpurin
- Stapler
- Printed bow ribbon
- Glue gun
Steps:
- For each wreath, you wish to build, gather four toilet paper rolls.
- Bend the tube from the center, keeping the ends circular and open.
- To attach them, use the stapler to staple the edges together (try to use a small stapler).
- Staple four of the bent tubes together to form the crown shape.
- Paint the inside and exterior of the tubes however you choose with the brushes.
- Using white glue, apply colorful glitter to the rolls and embellish as desired.
- Stick the patterned ribbon to the crown using the glue gun.
2. Bright stars
This simple project is built from shredded toilet paper tubes and produces a lovely outcome. They will undoubtedly look great hanging from the tree in your home.
Materials:
- Toilet paper tubes
- Scissors
- Glue
- White (or other colored) spray paint
- Brushes
- White glue
- Purpurin
- Hanging tape
Steps:
- Make strips or rings out of the cardboard tube until you have six. Crush each ring in half so that it resembles a petal.
- Apply a drop of glue to the tip of the ring and adhere it to another ring to dry.
- Each strip should be spray painted.
- Then sprinkle the glitter on top of the rings and set aside for an hour to dry.
3. Mini Christmas tree

Materials:
- Toilet paper tubes
- Green cardboard
- White glue
- Scissors
- Brilliantine
- Colored pom poms
- Rope or wool
Steps:
- Fold the cardboard in half to form a triangle by cutting it into two equal squares.
- Make a hole in the top so that you may subsequently thread a string through it.
- Decorate the green cardboard as desired (with the white glue you can glue the glitter and the pom poms).
- Pinch the tree’s sides together to make room for the cardboard tube to be inserted into the tree to form the trunk.
- To stick to the toilet paper cardboard log, add glue to the cardboard tube.
- Pass the rope through the top hole to hang it from the tree, or place it wherever you want.
4. Cardboard reindeer for the tree

Steps:
- Cut the toilet paper rolls in half and glue the cardboard or brown cloth together.
- Make a hole on each side of the pipe’s top to insert the pipe cleaners as horns. Bend it until it becomes a curl.
- To make the nose, use white glue to adhere to a red bead.
- Glue the wiggly eyeballs on.

Steps:
- Make a ring out of the rolls.
- Fold the rolls and use the glue gun to cover one of the sides with colorful paper.
- Cut out a little square for the top of the “bulbs.”
- Fold the squares in half and glue them together, making sure they are large enough.
- Glue the string between the folded squares and move it through the square gaps.
- Connect the string with little light bulbs.
