A quick method to ensuring the survival of your indoor plants. Make a small indoor garden and learn how to maintain it:)
What You Need:
Tools:
- Gloves
- Shovel
- Sprayer
- Pruning shears
Materials:
- Pots
- Plants
- Substratum
Step by Step:
1. Use Suitable Pots
You must consider important factors such as pot selection for your indoor plants to grow effectively and healthily. They must be perforated at the base to prevent puddles of soil. It is precisely for this reason that plates must be placed beneath the pot to prevent the dripping water from staining anything.
2. Plant Your Seedlings
Choose your favorite pots and start putting your plants. Fill half of a pot with substrate and compact it with your hands. Remove the plant from its original container, taking care not to harm the roots, and aerate the area. Fill it with more substrate and compact it in your new pot.
3. Choose a Good Location
You’ll need to select an appropriate place for the plants once they’re ready. They require a location where they can receive light while also serving as a decorative element. It’s a good idea to sort them by how much care they require: those that only need to be watered once a week, those that require more attention, and so on.
4. Prune and Water Your Plants
Remove any branches that are causing the plant to grow in an unbalanced manner, as well as any dead leaves from the branches and the soil surface. It is critical that the leaves are in good condition, not just for aesthetic reasons, but also because it is where they breathe.
Water and care for your plants according to the season’s watering rhythms and light requirements. This is especially important in the summer, when they are most vulnerable to high temperatures.
